How does it feel to be on the cover of Oxygen?

Words cannot describe the feeling. My personal goal has always been to positively impact the lives of others. The fact that I am on the cover of Oxygen is an incredibly humbling and awe-inspiring moment for me. I feel so grateful and blessed, and my hope is to inspire more people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and a more positive outlook on life.

Have you been a longtime reader?

I’ve been reading Oxygen since before I even ventured into the health and fitness industry, and I have always wanted to be involved with Oxygen in some way. I love what the magazine stands for, what it teaches and most of all the positive impact it has on women of all ages.

What is your New Year’s resolution?

My resolution is to develop a sustainable physique that functions great for everything — sports, weightlifting and life. I think that has been the hardest thing for me, finding that sweet spot of healthy balance! I would love to really nail that down this year.

What are three things on your bucket list?

1. Shark-cage diving with great whites! I am obsessed with sharks.

2. Publishing my own book.

3. Appearing on Good Morning America. I would love to do a workout or share healthy recipes on that show. It’s always been a dream of mine!

Katie Corio is ready to kickstart your new year with a transformational training program.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

In 2015, I had the opportunity to train with Lou Ferrigno at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California, before competing at the Ferrigno Legacy show. The day was filmed for a Spike TV show called Celebrity Sweat, and it was one of the coolest, most memorable days of my life! He is such a legend and was so incredibly nice and fun to be around.

Is it true that you literally had no booty at one time?

Yes! Here are a few transformation pics to prove it: [IMAGES]

It has taken years of trial and error, but with consistent effort, strategic training and nutrition, I am so proud of my progress! It took heavy, compound movements mixed with isolation and activation exercises.
